Artytime Scrapstore
Artytime scrapstore is situated in Jarvis Brook recreational park, Crowborough, East Sussex TN6 2EG.
It’s a facility, which reuses items (mostly from local businesses) that would otherwise be thrown away and repurposes them for art and craft projects.
It is a brilliant way to reuse materials, and promote recycling.
These materials may be supplied to individuals, families and schools. As well as playgroups, holiday clubs, special needs groups and other community organisations such as Scouts and Guides. Please ask about our large group membership. Most of the materials will be free however some may have a small charge.
This is a community project based in Jarvis Brook recreation ground, Crowborough. Open to members who will help keep this resource facility going by paying a small membership fee of £30 per year. Of course any donations would also be gratefully received. Our opening times are Monday 3.30pm until 5.30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.30am until 11.30 am and Thursdays 4.00pm until 6.00pm. We also open every second Sunday and last Sunday of the month 10am until 12. However, we could also open by pre-arranged appointment.
The store is run by members of the community who volunteer their time to collect and sort the scrap donations. We will post regularly on our scrapstore facebook page any new and exciting donations and welcome inspirational ideas that people have made with the materials.
We want everyone to have the chance to recycle, reuse and repurpose, so become a member and get creative.
