Donations
Any donation you care to make will benefit the various projects we are involved in.
These are:
Setting up Artytime workshops for children via afterschool and Saturday clubs. These need an initial resource kit that cost approximately £200.
Our Family Fun Sessions need toddler toys, puzzles and baby books. To keep cost down we use good condition second hand toys where possible and only buy them if absolutely necessary. The storage boxes are the major out lay for each group we set up, which is approximately £50.
We have bought equipment such as a badge-making machine, which we plan to use at fundraising events such as school fairs etc. This is another way of generating money for our projects. As school fairs and other events can take place on the same day it would be useful to have another badge-making machine. They cost approximately £160.
Our Young at Heart project brings families with children under 5 together with care home residents for a meet and mingle session with some child development activities. We know a lot of older people are Young at Heart and they can help the younger generation in their learning and development, forming friendships and developing empathy and understanding. After all the young are the heart of our society, our future and we should all play a part in making them the best they can be. The older generation love seeing the children play and really enjoy the interaction with the parents and children. To set up one of these sessions cost £150 to provide the resources, materials and storage boxes.
We are in the process of opening an arts and craft scrap store in the local area, as this will help our sustainability and help local businesses by recycling there waste products in some way. We have secured funding to set the scrap store up but will need funding to support the project in it’s second year. If you would like to help with this project, please get in touch office@artytime.co.uk Any contribution you can make would be gratefully received.
We also offer a stay active in the community or get ready for the work place program. this helps stay at home parents build confidence by helping others in the community. They gain work experience as well as free training to enhance their skills.
Donations can come in many forms from money, toys and time.
We would appreciate whatever you would like to give and thank you in advance.
